Whenever
I reiterate day’s bygone, I can think
of about over a thousand solo performances,
I have notched up within and outside the country.
Each of these performances means a lot to me
as they are the substantiation of the congenial
fact of the warm appreciation of my audiences.
It might be an improvised wooden set-up,
in some far-flung district of my state or
the air-conditioned proscenium in the a mega
city in my own country or abroad... whether
facing "commoners" and an essentially
"rustic" audience on in the presence
of national and international celebrities
and dignitaries, I have found an enlivened
‘me’ each time I take the stage.
It has always humbled me into believing more
and more in the supremacy of the mind and
its strange ways of compassionate conduit
with other minds across complex and futile
obstacles that we ourselves setup.
So my every voyage remains special as they
tutor me the truths of and endorse my confidence
in humanity, and I owe a lot to - each one
of them who have been with me in my sojourn
of explore, the divine legitimacy of life
from all the corners of India,
and abroad, like the U.S.A
and the Middle East.
